Placing your order with us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. By accepting your order, a contract is formed between us. In the unlikely even that the goods are no longer available, or there is a pricing error, we will advise you of this. In this case there will be no contract between us unless you decide to purchase an alternative product from us.
The total cost of your order will be set out clearly in your basket before you submit your payment information, including the applicable rate of VAT and any delivery charges.
Your order can be made securely online or by telephone, using Visa, Mastercard and Amex cards. Online payments may also be made using Paypal. In the event that payment is made by BACS or cheque, please do not use the online basket or checkout. Whichever payment option you choose, the payment is deducted when we process your order.
Cheques must be in pounds sterling. Please make cheques payable to 'SunSwitch Limited' and post to Units 2-4 Burnt House Farm, Broad Oak, East Sussex, TN31 6BX .
Goods may be supplied on account only where credit facilities have been applied for and approved by SunSwitch Ltd. Payments on account are strictly net 30 days. No discount, other than any shown on the invoice, may be deducted.
General Data Protection Regulation
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) any personal information gathered will be used only for the purpose of processing your order and delivering your goods. No such data will be sold or passed on, and SunSwitch will not use this data to send you unsolicited marketing information.
We make no promise that our Internet services will meet all requirements, or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or entirely error free.
All rights to the information on this website are owned by SunSwitch Limited. You may copy and print portions of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with our internet services. The materials on our internet websites may not be used for any other purpose without the express written permission of SunSwitch Limited.
These conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. SunSwitch Limited abides by the Distance Selling rules and the Sale of Goods Act.
Our appointed delivery companies have been chosen for their diligence and efficiency. SunSwitch cannot be held liable for any consequential loss due to late delivery or failure to deliver by our appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of items that are shown not to have been received by you. In the event of loss or damage in transit, please notify us immediately on

Customers are responsible for ensuring that goods received are carefully stored and handled before and during installation. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused careless handling by customers or their agents. If there is any problem with the goods we have supplied, please contact us immediately to let us know what that is. We will endeavor to resolve the matter quickly, to the best of our ability, and in accordance with your legal rights.
If a product is to be returned due to it being defective or damaged on delivery, please arrange to send it back to us with its original packaging. We must receive the product back within 14 days from when you notified us. Upon receipt of the product, we will replace or refund the price of the item; all costs incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us.
We are confident you will be completely satisfied with the goods you have purchased from SunSwitch. However, should you wish to return an item for exchange or have decided it is not what you wanted, please arrange to send it back to us with original packaging, complete and undamaged, within 14 days of receipt. All such goods must be in 'as new' condition. This includes all accessories, manuals, fixings and product packaging. You do not have to give any reason for rejecting the goods, however, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer in the future. We will exchange or refund the cost of the returned item(s) and reserve the right to deduct a re-stocking charge of 20%. In the case of special order, clearance items and bespoke products, exchange or refund is not available unless the goods are in some way defective.
We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded trackable delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. We will not pay your costs of returning the item to us, unless the goods were delivered to you damaged or defective. Please ensure that the goods are adequately protected during transit back to us, as any damage incurred in this way will be deducted off any refund due.

Any refund due will occur within 15 days from the receipt of returned goods.
This Returns Policy does not affect your legal rights. Your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations remain unchanged.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms apply to business to consumer transactions and do not apply to business to business transactions. SunSwitch Limited may change these Terms & Conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
