Heater products recommended for community and village halls

All the heaters shown below are designed and manufactured in the EC, are CE approved, and feature advanced gold elements. These not only have a very high efficiency (over 93%), but they produce a neutral light output (not the strong red glow of older generation quartz halogen heaters). Moreover, they maintain their high power output throughout their operating life.

In some instances, voltage regulators may be advantageous. These work like dimmer switches, and they provide instantaneous control over heat output while saving energy - see bottom of this page for more information. We also supply PIRs for automatic on/off switching , and timer controls (please contact us with your requirements).

VOLTAGE REGULATORS

SunSwitch voltage regulators allow the output from quartz halogen heaters to be adjusted for comfort and economy. When turned down, the regulators also reduce energy consumption and extend element life which, in the long run, more than offsets the purchase price. Regulators are simple to install, with just neutral live and earth inputs, and connections to the heater/s (intended for professional installation only).

The CC1 Comfort Controller enables the heat output from up to 3kW of SunSwitch infra red heaters to be manually adjusted for complete comfort control, while also providing a soft-start to maximise element life. One CC1 will control up to two 1.3kW Weathersafe heaters. These are strongly recommended where heaters are installed beneath awnings. The advanced phase angle circuit has been specially developed for quartz halogen heaters. When turned down, the CC1 also reduces energy consumption which, in the long run, more than offsets the purchase price. The CC1 is extremely simple to install with just neutral, live and earth inputs, and connections to the heater/s.
